“The World According to Gayle” is Oprah Daily’s new video series spotlighting all things Gayle each and every month. Our editor at large is sharing her favorites of the moment, from buzzy new albums to fantastic restaurant finds you’ll want to try. Check back each month to see the latest!

Ah, March. Spring is right around the corner (March 20, to be exact), and with the turn of a new season also comes a slew of fresh releases that I can’t wait to dig into, including the continuation of awards season, new releases on the big screen and small screen, and of course, holidays.

Was it just me, or do you all remember getting pinched in school if you didn’t wear green on St. Patrick’s Day? I asked around the Oprah Daily office, and those under the age of 35 had no clue what I was talking about. I confess I was more the pincher than the pinched, but now I advise that no pinching happen at all (for what it’s worth, I still wear green)! Below, I tell you all about the best TV, movies, footwear, and activities happening in my world during the month of March for “The World According to Gayle.”

Gayle King visited Under Armour for their pop up event to grab a pair of shoes.

Under Armour SlipSpeed

Kevin Plank first told me about his idea for the SlipSpeed Training Shoe more than a year ago. Back then, it was not much more than sketches on a piece of paper, but now it is one of the most unique tennis shoes I’ve ever seen. What makes it different than the rest in your closet? It has an adjustable heel that allows your foot to step in like a clog or Croc without stomping on the back of the shoe. How cool is that? These sneakers come in a variety of colors, are unisex, and are made for athletes and non-athletes alike. You can grab a pair for $150 online right now.

Creed III

Michael B. Jordan is back as Adonis Creed in Creed III, the latest installment in the Rocky film universe. Joining Adonis in the ring is a friendly foe, Damien, who is played by Jonathan Majors. The pair share a complicated history and, as it goes, some unfinished business. In this sequel, Jordan appears in front of and behind the camera, making his directorial debut. And if there are any doubts left as to whether you should run to the theater on March 3, the sight of Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors together on-screen alone is worth the price of admission. Trust me, it’s a knockout

National Take a Walk in the Park Day

It seems as if there is a holiday to celebrate every little thing on any given day. And we’re going to cover some of the most random, most obscure, most fun holidays each month. On March 30, it is National Take a Walk in the Park Day—the instructions are self-explanatory, but see it as an excuse to take a break and head to your nearest park for a dose of fresh air and a bit of exercise. And because I practice what I preach, I did the same and took a stroll in Central Park, and I ran into a couple of strangers who didn’t know there was such a holiday—so of course, I told them all about it. You’re welcome!
