With the crisp-air-filled days of fall fast approaching, it’s prime time to prep for all things cozy. As you get your snuggly lounge wear in order (and anticipate those pumpkin spice lattes), we thought you’d want to know about the latest and greatest from fashion authority and TV personality Jill Martin Brooks. Her sherpa lounger has been a staff fave since day one—creative director Adam Glassman has five on standby in his home for guests and pretty much never takes his off. So, of course we had to try the Bumblebella by Jill Martin hooded cape, launching on QVC today.
“I wanted to give an alternative in a different fabrication, and I have always loved the cape silhouette,” says Martin Brooks of the hooded cape that comes in two sizes (one-size missy and one-size plus) and five colors. “This one is unique because it works whatever your style and at any age.” It’s made of what she’s calling a cotton-candy fabric that has the look and softness of shearling. It’s meant to be worn year-round, whether on the beach for a sunset clambake, on the plane, walking the dogs, lounging at home, or running errands. The button closure and pockets keep it functional and pulled-together-looking. Oh and it's under $40 so you get a lot of bang for your buck.
Martin Brooks recently announced that she’s been battling breast cancer, and the non-fussy, comforting cape has been helpful along her journey. “During my procedures, I wore it as a blanket the whole time.
